Monthly VAT Have a New Date

Please be informed that there is a new deadline for the payment of monthly VAT. The deadline for September's monthly VAT and the accumulated VAT of the third quarter of 2023 is on the 27th of this month. This change was brought about by the amendments in the state budget from last year, 2022. The payment deadline for monthly VAT is now on the 25th of the second month after the VAT becomes due. However, this month, November, the deadline is on the 27th because the 25th falls on a Saturday.


The payment deadline for the accumulated VAT of the third quarter of 2023 is also on the 27th of this month. If you wish to opt for the flexibility option, you can request it through the Tax Authority's Portal by the end of the voluntary payment period at Payment Flexibility > Join.


Please note that the number of instalments cannot exceed the remaining months until the end of the respective year, which is 2023 in this case. Therefore, the payment for September's monthly VAT and the accumulated VAT of the third quarter of 2023 can only be made in two monthly instalments (November and December).
